In 5 hours: #EndSARS protesters raise N4.1m for Jane to buy prosthetic leg

Nigerian youths participating in the #EndSARS protest have raised ₦4,136,070.00 to buy a prosthetic leg for a lady, Jane Obiene, who joined the Abuja protest.

As of 13.19 pm when TheDailyLeaks visited the donation page, ₦ 4,136,070.00 have been raised by 731 people.

As stated on the fundraiser’s page, the target was to raise ₦1,500,000 in 30 days but that was surpassed within five hours.

Aproko Doctor, who is a Twitter used, had, via his handle, @aproko_doctor, shared the image of Obiene, asking Nigerians to donate through a link.

In the image Obiene could be seen marching with hundreds of other protesters bearing crutches.

Aproko Doctor explained that Jane had been unemployed since 2013 over her disability among other reasons.
