Let there be <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/JusticeForJibril?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#JusticeForJibril<\/a> \ud83d\udc94 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/OytNAuTJr2\">pic.twitter.com\/OytNAuTJr2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; The Daily Leaks (@TheDailyLeaks) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheDailyLeaks\/status\/1293085150734155777?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 11, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As gathered, Jubril was treated cruelly and had to eat animal feeds and his faeces for survival.<\/p>\n<p>This heartbreaking situation, it was said had &#8220;affected his mental capability and makes him behave like an animal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A Twitter user Manir Jega, who made his case popular, confirmed that the evil perpetrators, that is, Jibril\u2019s two stepmothers and father are currently in police custody, while, he, Jubril, is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi.<\/p>\n<p>It was said the boy is now responding to treatment at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Kebbi State Police Command has has confirmed the arrest ofJubril&#8217;s father and his three wives for allegedly chaining the man&#8217;s 11-year-old son in an animal stall for two years.<\/p>\n<p>The Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, DSP Nafi\u2019u Abubakar, confirming the arrest of the boy&#8217;s father and stepmothers\u00a0to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, said, &#8220;Yes our men have arrested a father to an 11-year-old, Jibrin Aliyu, and three wives for allegedly chaining the boy for over two years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our men arrested the suspects on Sunday in Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi Local\u00a0Government, and the boy is at Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital as the investigation is still ongoing to unravel the circumstances behind chaining the boy in animal stall for that period.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO READ:\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thedailyleaks.com\/dont-smoke-away-your-babies-gynaecologist-abosede-lewu-warns\/\">Don\u2019t smoke away your babies, Gynaecologist, Abosede Lewu, warns<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As corroborated by the police, Jubril, from Badariya Area of Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, lost his mother two years ago, and his stepmothers allegedly began maltreating\u00a0him and denied him proper care.<\/p>\n<p>Jubril said to be epileptic was reportedly chained with animals and had to survive by eating remnants of the animals&#8217; food, and also sometimes ate his own faeces, Manir Jega, who\u00a0shared his videos after he was rescued, said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a result of monstrous and nefarious treatment he was subjected to, he entirely lost his senses and behaves exactly like an animal,&#8221; Jega said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, while speaking with newsmen, an elder brother to the victim, Bilal Aliyu, denied that Jubril was maltreated by family members.<\/p>\n<p>Rather, he said his brother was temporarily chained for fear of being missing from the house because he is\u00a0epileptic\u00a0from the birth.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My brother whom we happen to be same father with was\u00a0epileptic\u00a0right from when he was born, but periodically recovers from his\u00a0ailment\u00a0upon which was the reason why he was sent to school and until his situation got worsen was in primary school two.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After my father got separated with his mother (the boy), his mother had taken him to her patents village with a view to stay with her, and it was when his\u00a0ailment\u00a0bounced back and became worth that our father took him back as his mother eventually died.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can tell you, our father went to a great length to ensure that my brother got the best treatment he deserved as it took him to the extent of selling out his house and car in the course of the treatment, and unfortunately to no avail,&#8221;\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n<p>Aliyu said that the boy was only chained in the day time and taken to his room in the evening, adding that this hasn&#8217;t gone on for more than one year.<\/p>\n<p>Below are comments from Nigerians:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Meet heartless, wicked,  and cruel Jibril&#39;s Father and his two step mother that tight him for good two years kebbi State of North Western Nigeria. <\/p>\n<p>What a wicked individuals.
