{"id":4536,"date":"2020-09-02T19:46:10","date_gmt":"2020-09-02T18:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thedailyleaks.com\/?p=4536"},"modified":"2020-09-02T20:00:57","modified_gmt":"2020-09-02T19:00:57","slug":"armed-men-invade-mko-abiolas-house-in-lagos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thedailyleaks.com\/armed-men-invade-mko-abiolas-house-in-lagos\/","title":{"rendered":"Armed men invade MKO Abiola\u2019s house in Lagos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Armed men have invaded the Lagos home of the late Nigeria&#8217;s politician and business mogul, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.<\/p>\n<p>Popularly called MKO Abiola, the yet to be identified armed men, who, on Wednesday, broke into his house, at Ikeja, the Lagos capital city, were said to have carted away money in different currencies and denominations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO READ:\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thedailyleaks.com\/nans-seeks-student-friendly-policies-as-lagos-tertiary-schools-reopen-sept-14\/\">NANS seeks student-friendly policies as Lagos tertiary schools reopen Sept 14<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, as gathered, security men were said to have arrested some of the robbers and handed them over to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Lagos.<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, who spoke on the incident also confirmed that some arrests had been made, saying investigation had commenced into the incident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Odumosu said: \u201cThree people were involved in the operation and from what I gathered when I visited the house today, only one of the suspects was armed. The suspects gained entry through the canal because the building backed the canal and I was told that some pieces of jewellery and money were stolen. I have beefed up security in the area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;None of the residents, including his wife, Bisi and two girls were attacked or injured during the operation.
