A parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the City of David, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, has launched a dating website.<\/p>\n

Announcing this on its official Facebook page days after the website went live, the church says: \u201cThere is no marriage in heaven!\u201d Stating further: \u201cWe are here to help you connect and hopefully meet your better half.\u201d<\/p>\n

The website’s features shows it connects adults in preparation for courtship and marriage.<\/p>\n

However, before a possible connection with a partner, participants are expected to register and have their details processed before approval.<\/p>\n

Registration is free for intending participants who are not expected to pay any fee to access the platform.<\/p>\n

Stating the essence of the platform further in a statement on the dating site, the church advised users of the platform carry out their due diligence before connecting with other participants, as it placed a disclaimer on any form of eventuality which may occur.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish makes no representations or warranties and expressly disclaims any and all liability concerning any damages sustained by any registrant as a result of connecting with anyone on this platform.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking in a video on its Facebook page, Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, the minister in charge of the parish said people on the platform are of varying ages.<\/p>\n

According to him: \u201cWe have from ages 20, 25 to 65,\u201d Pastor Idowu noted in the social media post.<\/p>\n

“The platform is already organising virtual masterclasses for participants where it teaches about key ingredients for a successful marriage.”<\/p>\n
