Nigerian top hip-hop singer, Oladapo Oyebanjo, aka D’Banj, has sued Seyitan Tayo for N1.5 billion, following allegation of rape against him.
D’banj, on Friday, through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, a radical legal practitioner, filed an application at an Abuja High Court, asking it to compel Seyitan to at him a sum N1.5 billion as damages for the embarrassment caused him over her rape allegation.
Seyitan had accused D’Banj of sexually assaulting her in 2018, but which the singer had since denied, describing it as “lie from the pit of hell.”
