A Legacy of Influence

Green Day, formed in 1987 by Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt, is a pivotal American rock band that helped popularize punk rock in the mainstream.

Their major-label debut, Dookie (1994), sold over 10 million copies in the U.S. alone, marking a significant milestone in pop-punk history.

The band’s influence continued with American Idiot (2004), a rock opera that resonated with a new generation.

Celebrating their legacy, they recently announced their upcoming album Saviors, set for release on January 19, 2024, highlighting their enduring impact on music and culture.
