Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, visited the Aso Rock Villa Wednesday morning, where he held a brief meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting held in the State House, Abuja, shortly after which President Buhari entered the Executive Council Chambers for the week’s Federal Execute Council (FEC) meeting.
The reason for the meeting though could not be ascertained, but it may not be unconnected with the recent arrival of the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II who is currently on exile in the state.

It was also gathered that the governor might have visited Buhari to brief him on the security situation in his state, Nasarawa being one of the states bordering the seat of the power and the nation’s capital city; the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
It will be recalled that after his dethronement on Monday by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, was banished to Nasarawa State.
