Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has congratulated the standard bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on his electoral victory as Nigeria’s president-elect.
Prof Osinbajo, who lauded the victory of the former Lagos State governor, Wednesday, morning, March 1, 2023, wished him the best as he prepares to lead the nation.

Disclosing this in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle Wednesday morning, the Vice President’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande, said, Prof Osinbajo, who presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting Wednesday morning, led other cabinet ministers in congratulating the President-elect Bola Tinubu.
He said the Vice President “congratulating President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the polls,” also wished him “the best as he prepares to lead the nation.”
Akande equally informed that the Vice President and FEC also congratulate Vice-President-elect Kashim Shettima and First-Lady-designate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
