Nigeria’s former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, took centre stage at the Access Bank Guest Lecture Series, delivering a compelling address that honoured the late Group Managing Director and CEO, Herbert Wigwe.
In a tone resonating with reverence and admiration, Prof. Osinbajo eloquently highlighted Wigwe’s visionary leadership and enduring legacy at the 2014 Q1 Lecture Series.

“As we convene, driven not just to fulfil a promise but to embody the progress and innovation he championed, it’s crucial we address the significant challenges ahead, particularly the nuanced understanding of global trends crucial for Africa’s future,” Prof. Osinbajo emphasized.

“This gap underscores the essence of leadership: the imperative to listen, to understand the pulse of both local and international arenas, and to engage in thoughtful scenario planning,” he continued, urging leaders to embrace a broader horizon that includes technology, climate change, demographic shifts, geopolitics, healthcare, and educational transformation.
