As Head of Mission, Prof. Osinbajo will lead a delegation of distinguished West Africans mandated to engage with national stakeholders, encourage a peaceful and credible electoral process, and collaborate with other international and domestic observer groups to assess the conduct of the polls.
The regional bloc said the deployment reflects ECOWAS’s steadfast commitment to advancing peace, stability, and credible democratic governance across West Africa.
