The Supreme Court in Abuja, on Tursday, May 9, 2023, declared Governor Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the July 16 governorship election in Osun State, as it affirmed the appellate court ruling of March 24, 2023.
Earlier before its ruling, supporterss of both the incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke and the of his challenger, former governor, Isiaka Oyetola, were apprehensive over the possible outcome of the ruling as the Supreme Court.
But jubikation broke out in Adsleke’s camp as the apex court delivers its judgement.
