There is a growing anxiety over the state of health of the All Progressives Congress (APC) acting chairman, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
The former Oyo State governor, who has been out of circulation lately, receiving treatment for COVID-19 infection in an undisclosed hospital in Lagos, has been functioning by proxy since he was appointed acting APC national chairman.
However, sparking death rumours of Ajimobi broke out Thursday night, but which has been debunked by his aide, Bolaji Tunji, who called it fake news.

Tunji said his principal, Ajimobi is alive.
“I spoke with those around him a short while ago and they confirmed to me that he is still alive. Please disregard news of his death as fake news,” Tunji said.
The 70-year-old former Senator, had battled the COVID-19 infection for over two weeks, and it was said his recovery is getting prolonged because of his underlining health issues.
