Grace makes easy what is naturally tough — Pastor Jaiyebo

Grace
Pastor Tunde Jaiyebo

A seasoned teacher of the gospel, Pastor Tunde Jaiyebo, has said that though God has supplied all earthly needs with ease of acquisition, people still struggle to have them because they are either trying to execute the wrong purpose or not tapping into the available grace.

The Senior Pastor of Charis Family International Church, who said this while declaring open the four-day 2023 Charis Nigeria Convention, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the ministry’s headquarters auditorium, along Cultural Centre Road, Mokola, Ibadan, noted that “grace makes easy what is naturally tough and difficult.”

Ministering on the conference theme: “Grace Multiplied,” with scriptural reference taken from 2 Peter 1:2-3, Pastor Jaiyebo said, “God has bestowed, granted and entrusted grace unto us,” hence, according to him, “In the agenda of heaven, all things you need have been made available. The entrance to a multiplicity of grace is knowing God.”

Defining the concept of grace, the cleric said, “Grace is the availability of God and His willingness to give us what is already available.”

Quoting verse two of 2 Peter 1 from the New Living Translation (NLT), which states, “May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord,” the cleric said, “God has given us the grace necessary to accomplish a particular assignment.”

Also explaining verse three from the Bible’s Amplified version (AMP), “For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue),” the minister said the divine endowment is already made available, but, “We don’t operate all things because we don’t have certain knowledge.”

He spoke to his congregation, “Your business grows to the extent to which you know,” as he said, according to Proverbs 11:9, “Knowledge is the key.”

The preacher said, “God is interested in your well-being,” admonishing that “To prosper is not a privilege, it is a human right in the spirit,” as according to him, God, in Genesis 1:28 has already given humanity the grace needed to excel whether born again or not, with the provisions made, given man the right to “Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it.”

He said, “The Bible is the will of God backed up by an oath,” still referencing Psalm 138:2 (b), the cleric said God magnifies His word above His name.

“Everything taken by grace is our inheritance. In the economy of heaven, your marriage, business, and other endeavours, you are to prosper by His grace. We are suffering amid plenty. We present unnecessary prayers before God to do what He has already done. Knowledge is important. The access to the will is grace.

“God is inexhaustible. Grace is inexhaustible. Grace is a donation, grace is a gift. All that we ever need are already available. It is not going to be available, it is already there. When there is a need, just go to the will and find out if it is available,” Pastor Jaiyebo said.

He thereby charged the congregation, quoting from Hebrews 4:16, “Let us, therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need,” saying, “For every need, there is a grace made available for it.”
