This was disclosed in a statement signed by Abby Asekun, co-founder of Future Perspectives, who emphasised that the 2024 dialogue will challenge the notion that climate action and economic growth are mutually exclusive.

Asekun highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovative thinking, and youth engagement as critical to achieving both climate-positive growth and sustainable economic development for Africa’s future.

According to the statement, the media is invited to cover this significant event, aimed at advancing the conversation on sustainable development in Africa.
