In a heartfelt and widely shared moment, Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola offered poignant advice to his daughter, Temi, and her new husband, Afrobeats star, Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade, during their wedding reception in Iceland, urging Temi to respect her husband as “her boss.”
He further encouraged the couple to cultivate love, understanding, and partnership as they begin their journey together in married life.
The couple, who had celebrated their union with a series of lavish ceremonies across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, were joined by close family and friends for the final celebration at Reykjavík’s iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church.
The event featured a surprise performance by John Legend and concluded with an intimate gathering at Hvammsvik Hot Springs .
In a now-viral video from the reception, Femi Otedola addressed the newlyweds with warmth and humor, saying,
“You found a great guy, very great guy, blessed guy. He’s come from a very decent family. One thing I’ll advise you… you have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me up.”

The billionaire also praised the couple’s shared entrepreneurial spirit, calling their union “made in heaven” and noting their deep love for each other.
He further advised them to handle disagreements privately, emphasising the importance of keeping marital issues within their relationship .
Temi and Mr Eazi, who got engaged in April 2022, had previously held a civil ceremony in Monaco and a traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai, blending their rich cultural heritage with modern elegance .
The Icelandic wedding, in particular, stood out for its breathtaking setting and the couple’s commitment to honouring their roots while celebrating their love. As Temi shared on social media, “All throughout we honoured our rich culture but made sure everything felt like us.”
