2023: Obasanjo’s son moves for Osinbajo Presidency, volunteers to join campaign train

Olujonwo Obasanjo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has joined the mass of Nigerians calling on the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, to declare his interest to contest as President in 2023 elections.

Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Office of the Vice President, who made this known Saturday morning via a statement on his social media accounts, said, Olujonwo made his intention known during his visit to him in his office.

Ojudu wrote: “Olujonwo Obasanjo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, visited yesterday (Friday). He too, like many others, came to register his wish and aspiration that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo throws his hat in the rings for the 2023 contest.

“Smart and brimming with ideas, he promised that if Osinbajo heeds the call of Nigerians he will be willing and ready to volunteer to join the campaign train .
