President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting behind closed-doors with his immediate predecessor, former President Goodluck Jonathan, at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock in Abuja.
On his arrival in Aso Rock at exactly 11:00 a.m., Jonathan proceeded to President Buhari’s office for the meeting.
It is believed that Jonathan on his
from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) mission, where he headed the political reconciliation in Mali, over the leadership tussle in the country, had returned to brief President Buhari on how the proceedings went.

In Mali, the Jonathan-led committee recommended a government of national unity in the country, but the opposition group turned down the offer.
The agenda for Buhari, Jonathan was not disclosed, but it is speculated that among other state matters that may be discussed, the Mali mission may be the main focus of their meeting.
