LASTLY: Osinbajo meets APC govs, to declare for 2023 Presidency afterwards

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Sunday evening, began a meeting with the governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) inside his official Aguda Residence at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

As reliably gathered from a top presidential source, the Vice President called for the meeting, where he is to take the Iftar dinner with the governors, especially those from the North who had arrived earlier for the session.

According to the presidential top source, the “APC governors are arriving at the residence of the Vice President for a crucial meeting ahead of his planned decision to declare for 2023.”

As further gathered, the meeting also had other APC big wigs from the country’s geopolitical zones in attendance.

After the meeting which was the last consultation session the Vice President is holding, following torrents of calls from Nigerians on him to contest for the 2023 Presidency, “he would be informing the APC governors and other attendees of his decision to run for President in 2023 under the APC banner,” the Aso Villa top source informed the Daily Leaks when contacted.

As reliably gathered, it is after concluding this session Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will inform Nigerians, Monday morning, of his intention to run for the office of the President.
