New York to conduct video marriages amid coronavirus crisis, Gov Cuomo says

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced at his daily press briefing in Albany that beginning Saturday, New York will allow weddings by webcam.

“There’s now no excuse when the question comes up for marriage. You can do it by Zoom,” Cuomo said.

Cuomo said, the “Video marriage ceremonies” measure seeks to make the statewide coronavirus lockdown a bit more tolerable, and romantic.
