Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has been flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), for medical treatment.
Information had it that wife of President Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria for UAE at the Sallah weekend after complaining of persistent neck pain.
The First Lady was said to have suspected the pain after returning from Lagos to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
But Aisha had observed Eid-el-Kabir celebration with her family at home in Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in conformity with the protocols set by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) on Eid prayers.

She was also seen taken photigraohs with members of her family on the day.
First Lady Aisha had visited Lagos, late in July on a condolence visit to Florence Ajimobi, widow of the former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, at the Ajimobis residence on the highbrow Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Ajimobi, the late former Oyo State governor, had died on June 25, 2020 after suffering complications from the highly infectious coronavirus disease.
But after returning from Lagos, the First Lady Aisha, was said to have observed the 14-day self-isolation consequent upon the neck pain said to have refused to stop for close to one month after her trip.
The need for a thorough medical check up was given as the reason to fly First Lady Aisha to Dubai, for a comprehensive and immediate medical attention.
However, as gathered, she safely arrived Dubai, and currently observing bed rest in a stable condition.
