Nigerian music industry is developing fast, says AJ Entertainment boss

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AJ Entertainment, Chukwuebuka Gabriel Ilochonwu, has applauded the growth being witnessed in the Nigerian music industry.

He also commended Nigerians, who he described as “lovers of good music,” as those he said also helped to trigger the positive advancement in the development that came to the industry in recent times.

The music record label owner, popularly known as Ebuka, said such development the industry has witnessed in recent times include digitalization of their music with the use of upgraded gadgets, musical instruments and technology which he said have all contributed in reducing the cumbersome production processes.

“These days, you don’t need a chain of backup singers and loads of drums and other musical instruments to add percussion into your compositions, instead, technology can be used to do all these. A good producer knows what to add with technological manipulations to make your music turn out a great hit to your audience.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AJ Entertainment, Ilochonwu, said he was familiar with the terrain as an insider who is vast in industrial approaches to the business, which he said has seen smooth thus far with an array of artistes he said are paraded on his label.

Ebuka, said among such big names in the industry he has worked with include Blaqjerzee, a producer and artiste, and he has in the past worked with popular musical sensations likes of Wizkid, Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Jaywon, Skiibii, Kcee, Efya, Mr Eazi, Harmonize, Diamond Platnumz, Tecno, Ice Prince and Gyakie.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AJ Entertainment, said he has also worked with a Nigerian singer in the United States, Dammy Krane, formerly signed to 2Face Idibia’s record label, Hypertek Music, and such experience with the musician, Ebuka, said was one of such that added colour to his experience in the industry.
