Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has told the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to collaborate with technological-innovative institutions to counter contemporary and emerging security challenges.

Prof Osinbajo admonished NAF to increase its local capacity building through practical and purposeful collaboration beyond the military and partnership, which he said would help in countering contemporary and emerging security challenges.

Prof Osinbajo giving the government’s account of fighting terror said that within the last four years to date, the Buhari-led administration has committed substantial national resources to enhance the overall capabilities of the Armed Forces, especially the Nigerian Air Force.

He said that NAF had proved its mettle since the years of its establishment both local and international, adding that he was impressed by the parade and aerial displays put up by the Nigerian Air Force.
