The Lagos State branch of Nigeria’s foremost alumni association, the University of Ibadan Alumni Association (UIAA) will on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, organise a Roundtable Discussion on Nigeria’s Economic Recovery post-COVID-19 to help chart a roadmap for the country in its efforts to navigate the economy out of the pandemic woods.

This is coming as the Lagos State government has alerted citizens to a likely fourth wave of COVID-19 in December ahead of the December 1, 2021 deadline by the Federal Government to restrict unvaccinated federal workers from accessing their offices as part of efforts to contain the pandemic, achieve herd vaccination and prevent another lockdown cum shutdown of the nation’s commercial and political capital.

The Roundtable Discussion holding on Wednesday by 11:00 a.m. at Olokun Hall, Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, will be chaired by Dr. Diran Fawibe, Chairman, International Energy Services. The Special guest of honour is Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hazmat, and Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Mrs Folashade Jaji, will be the special guest at the event.
