Again, gunmen strike, kidnap schoolgirls in Kaduna

Gunmen have, again, abducted scores of girls at the Federal College Of Forestry Mechanisation in Birnin Gwari LGA, Kaduna State, after an attack.

As gathered, the sad incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, at a school less than 15 kilometers to the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna.

Mohammed Jalige, police spokesman in the state, jas confirmed the incident, saying, “efforts are ongoing to rescue the students.”

“The gunmen stormed the school around 3 am, and abducted a couple of the students. The police has deployed its operatives in the bush to trace them,” Jalige said.
