Former Oyo State Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala is dead.
Aged 71, Alao-Akala, as gathered was said to have died in his sleep at the early hours of Wednesday.
Before his assumption of office as Oyo State governor on May 29, 2007, he was a deputy governor under former Governor Rashidi Ladoja between 2003 and 2006.
