The All Progressives Congress (APC), has began its governorship primary election in Edo State.
Complying with the Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki’s COVID-19 regulations, the electoral committee kicked off the polls, adopting the social distancing principles in spacing the electorate who turned out to perform their franchise.

Pastor Ize-Iyamu, the 2016 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, was cleared alongside Pius Odubu, a former deputy governor of the state and Osaro Obazee, who contested a state assembly seat in 2019, to participate in the ongoing primary election.
