Nigeria recorded more cases of coronavirus on Monday, with Lagos still maintaining the lead, followed by Kano and Katsina states.
As declared by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria recorded 242 new cases of COVID-19 in its figures released Monday night.

In the figures released, Lagos State recorded 88 cases, Kano, Katsina and Kaduna States had 64, 49 and 13 new infections respectively.

They were followed by Ogun, Gombe and Adamawa states, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, as they all recorded nine, six, four and three cases respectively.
But the lowest category fell within Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Zamfara, Borno and Bauchi states had one new case each.

Nigeria thus far according to NCDC had recorded 4,641 cases of COVID-19 with 150 deaths, and the country had successfully treated and discharged 902 patients.
