Says ‘By this time tomorrow, you will shout and sing, ‘Come and see what the Lord has done for me”

An impactful and charismatic minister of the gospel, Pastor Moji Jaiyebo, has assured believers that no matter how far 2024 has gone, God’s promises of increase, joy, and restoration remain unwavering.

She delivered an empowering message of hope, underpinned by prophetic declarations and scriptural backing, speaking at the Day 2 session of Biazo 2024, held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Charis Family International Church headquarters, along Cultural Centre road, Mokola, Ibadan.

Reflecting on the theme of the programme, “A Mouth and a Wisdom, taking from the Book of Luke 21:15, the inspirational gospeller, spoke about God’s character of empowering his chidren for greatness.

Drawing from Jeremiah 30:19, Pastor Jaiyebo affirmed God’s commitment to multiply and glorify His people: “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”

Pastor Jaiyebo, the lead pastor of Charis Family International Church, Bodija branch, the Pavillion of Grace, situated at 45a, Awolowo, Old Bodija, Ibadan, encouraged the congregation to adopt a posture of praise, saying, “No matter how far 2024 has gone, out of your mouth shall it be said that you are among those that rejoice.”

The Power of Declaring Victory

Pastor Jaiyebo emphasised that God’s promises remain sure even in the face of challenges, referencing the biblical principle from Proverbs 24:16, saying, “Seven times the righteous may fall, but they will rise again.”

She declared that this is the attitude of a winning team, marked by their continuous rejoicing and shouting in anticipation of victory.

“By this time tomorrow, the impossible in your life shall be possible. That thing you are looking at and thinking is not possible shall be possible. The power to move on, you shall receive,” she assured, adding that God’s ability to turn situations around is undeniable.

Thanksgiving as a Weapon for Victory

Continuing her message, Pastor Jaiyebo urged the congregation to engage their mouths in speaking words of faith and thanksgiving.

“With your mouth, you have to start saying it to yourself that it is not over yet. Out of your mouth shall come the voice of thanksgiving. Songs of praise shall yet come out of your mouth,” she declared.

To further illustrate this, she cited Psalm 126:2: “Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing.”

She explained that as believers declare God’s goodness, they are positioning themselves for His miraculous intervention.

“No matter what has been your cause of sorrow, it is fading away. That private moment where you have asked questions about your situation is coming to an end,” she proclaimed.

Multiplication and Restoration

Pastor Jaiyebo expanded on the concept of multiplication as a divine principle, assuring the congregation that God’s plan is to increase, not just add, to their lives.

“God is not only turning you around, He is also multiplying you. You will receive double for every God-ordained opportunity you lost! Take your joy back, take your opportunities back, and say it to yourself: ‘It is my turn to rejoice,’” she declared.

Referencing Isaiah 61:7, she affirmed: “For your shame, you shall have double; and for confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore, in their land they shall possess the double.”

Pastor Jaiyebo reminded the congregation that their days of insignificance are over.

“Your days of having nothing to show for your labour are over. Your days of smallness are over,” she proclaimed.

Strength over Adversaries

In a powerful turn, Pastor Jaiyebo declared that the voice God has given believers is a weapon against adversaries.

Citing 2 Samuel 3:1, she shared how David waxed stronger and stronger while the house of Saul grew weaker.

“With the mouth that God gave to David, he waxed stronger and stronger. With the mouth that God has given to you, you shall wax stronger than your adversaries,” she affirmed.

Pastor Jaiyebo explained that having a voice, given by God, positions believers for strength and victory.

“When God gives a mouth to a man, many things happen,” she said, elaborating that one of the first manifestations is that the believer increases in strength, outgrowing their limitations and enemies.

Renewal and Transformation

Pastor Jaiyebo continued to emphasise the power of renewal, assuring the congregation that God’s intervention brings transformation in every area of life.

Referring to the story of the madman of Gadara in Mark 5:15, she illustrated how a life transformed by Christ becomes a voice of testimony.

“Drastic things happen to you as a dirty person like the woman with the issue of blood, Mark 5:34, but when you encounter God, you become clean.

“As a clean person, where they have despised you, they will begin to look for you,” she declared.

She encouraged those feeling like they are running out of time, addressing concerns about ageing or missed opportunities.

“If you are the one saying that age is catching up with you, or thinking it has ceased to be with you, but it is not late,” she said, referencing the resurrection of Lazarus after he had been dead for four days as a symbol of God’s ability to turn things around even when they seem beyond hope.

A Spirit of Resilience

Pastor Jaiyebo invoked the story of Lazarus, who had been dead for four days, to encourage believers not to give up.

She described how Mary and Martha had given up hope, but Jesus’ arrival brought resurrection power.

“They had already concluded that it couldn’t happen again. But God says a hope shall rise in you. A fighting spirit shall rise up to take your possession,” she proclaimed.

She called on the congregation to develop a fighting spirit, reclaiming everything God had prepared for them.

“The blessings that God has released for you are greater than you imagine. Your Samuel is greater than the children of the adversaries.

“As the oil comes upon your head, the grace to rise you shall receive,” she declared, citing 1 Samuel 16:13: “Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.”

It’s Not Too Late for God

In closing, Pastor Jaiyebo reassured the congregation that God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed.

“It may look late, but it’s not late for God. The voice of merry shall not depart from you. It is still on time, it is still within the plan and agenda,” she concluded, leaving the congregation with renewed faith and the expectation that God’s plan for their lives would be fulfilled.

With each declaration, Pastor Jaiyebo reinforced the importance of holding onto faith, proclaiming that no matter the circumstances, God’s promises of joy, restoration, and multiplication would manifest.

She left the congregation encouraged, reminding them that “the righteous shall rise again” and that their testimony was still in progress.
