The Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Ahmed Kabiru Abdullahi, has also come out to oppose President Muhammadu Buhari, on his approval of $1.9 billion for the construction of Kano-Niger Republic rail network.

Abdullahi, making his stand know on Saturday, via a post on his Facebook page, directly addressed to President Buhari, said there was no need for such a project.

According to him, “What we need now is to link the Abuja-Kaduna rail to Kano, Daura and Katsina, while he also proposed other internal projects to be put into consideration by President Buhari.

Such other rail projects he listed include, “Abuja-Ibadan-Lagos; Lokoja-Enugu-Port Harcourt; Lagos- Port Harcourt and Abuja-Minna-Sokoto.

Dear Mr. President,
We don’t need a train to Niger Republic! What we need now is to link the Abuja-Kaduna rail to Kano, Daura and Katsina, instead!
Subsequently,
1.Abuja-Ibadan(Lagos),
2.Lokoja-Enugu-Port Harcourt.
3.Lagos- Port Harcourt.
4.Abuja-Minna-Sokoto.
This will make you the FATHER of Nigeria’s Infrastructure development!
