Knowledge, decisive action, continuous growth and spiritual resistance are essential to experiencing “much more” in life, Pastor Tunde Jaiyebo has said, warning that ignorance, procrastination, complacency and demonic opposition can rob believers of greater possibilities.

Pastor Jaiyebo, Senior Pastor of Charis Family International Church, stated this while ministering on Day 3 of Biazo 2026, themed “Much More”, at the church’s headquarters on Cultural Centre Road, Mokola, Ibadan.

Speaking on the topic, “Hindrances to Working in Much More”, with Ephesians 3:20, Amplified as the main text, Jaiyebo said GOD’s power is unlimited and infinitely beyond human expectations.

“GOD’s power is unlimited, it is infinitely beyond our highest hopes of what you can think,” he said.

He said believers are connected to the omnipotence of GOD and must overcome the devil and circumstances created by him to experience much more.

“Life only answers to those who take it by force, those who make a demand for it,” he said.

Knowledge opens the way to increase

Jaiyebo identified ignorance as a robber of increase, citing 2 Corinthians 2:11, and said ignorance could open the door to the devil.

He urged believers to read, study and meditate on the word of GOD, adding that knowledge deals with ignorance.

Citing Proverbs 11:9, he also encouraged them to learn everything new in their chosen fields.

Action turns possibility into much more

He identified procrastination as another thief of much more, warning against postponing what could be done immediately.

Citing Proverbs 6:4, Message, he urged believers to act on their plans and take daily steps towards their desired increase.

“Do that business today, write the proposal today. Do what you have to do today. Do something daily towards entering your much more,” he said.

He also warned that a convenience mentality could prevent people from entering their much more.

Never allow present success to become a ceiling

Jaiyebo described complacency as being satisfied with present achievement, saying false security can become a thief of much more.

“Good is the enemy of best,” he said, citing 1 Corinthians 8:2.

He urged believers to celebrate their successes and victories while remaining open to greater possibilities.

“You can still do more things. Celebrate your success and victory, but there is much more,” he said.

Resist spiritual opposition

On demonic opposition, Jaiyebo urged believers to resist the devil and refuse to become victims of his operations.

“Resist the devil and he will flee. The devil wants to kill, steal and destroy. What you bind on earth are bound in heaven,” he said.

Drawing from 1 Peter 5:8 to 9, he outlined the need to be sober and clear minded, remain vigilant, understand who the devil is, recognise his tactics, refuse to become his victim, resist him steadfastly and maintain the right mindset and perspective.

“Since he is looking for whom to devour, it means not everybody is devourable. So, don’t be a victim,” he said.

Use the word, blood, name of JESUS and praise

Jaiyebo identified four ways believers can resist the devil, through the word of GOD, the blood of JESUS, the name of JESUS and praise.

Citing Ephesians 6:17, he described the word of GOD as the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, while Hebrews 4:12 describes the word of GOD as quick, powerful and sharper than any two edged sword.

On the blood of JESUS, citing Revelation 12:11, he said, “The blood reminds the devil of his defeat.”

He urged believers to declare the word of GOD over their offices, businesses, homes and situations.

Citing Philippians 2:10 to 11, he also urged believers to use the name of JESUS deliberately over their situations, rather than as a casual exclamation.

He encouraged believers to offer praises to GOD, saying praise can make the enemy stand still.

‘Your season for much more has come’

Jaiyebo urged believers to guard their words and avoid speaking against their own victory.

“Don’t speak against your victory. Don’t speak wrong words. Declare, I am 1,000 better than who I am now,” he said.

“Don’t speak anti much more words. The season for your much more has come.”

He urged participants to pray against hindrances, demonic operations and the yoke of convenience, declaring that it was their time for much more.
