Makinde retains Ogunwuyi as CoS appoints Olanrewaju new CPS

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, announced his first set of aides, shortly after he took his Oath of Office on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The governor who retained Segun Ogunwuyi who worked with him in his first term as the Chief of Staff (CoS), the office he formerly occupied, announced Sulaimon Olanrewaju as his new Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

Olaunrewaju who is replacing Taiwo Adisa who worked with the governor in his first term as the CPS, until his appointment was the Business Editor with Nigerian Tribune newspapers, Nigeria’s oldest surviving newspaper.

Olanrewaju, a multiple award-winning journalist, who has grown through the ranks over the years in the media industry, would be joining the governor’s team as a quality addition, bringing his wealth of experience to manage the media relations and public image of his principal, Governor Makinde.

The new appointments are with immediate effect.
