In Ibadan, Oyo State authorities have demolished the building used as a holding point during the abduction of the sister of Adebayo Adelabu and her twin sons, in a move officials describe as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal infrastructure linked to kidnapping operations.
Security operatives had earlier stormed the location following intelligence led operations that led to the rescue of the victims after several days in captivity.
The twin boys were reportedly abducted while being taken to school alongside their mother, triggering a coordinated search and tactical response by security agencies.
Investigations by the police indicate that the structure served as a temporary confinement site used by a kidnapping syndicate operating within parts of Ibadan.
Several suspects have been arrested in connection with the operation, while others were reportedly neutralised during exchanges with security personnel.
Authorities say the demolition followed the successful rescue operation and forms part of a wider strategy to prevent the building from being reused for criminal activity.

Officials also maintain that efforts are continuing to track remaining members of the network believed to have facilitated the abduction.
The Oyo State Police Command has urged continued public vigilance and encouraged residents to report suspicious movements or individuals seeking medical attention for gunshot related injuries, as investigations expand to identify collaborators and possible sponsors behind the operation.
