President Bola Tinubu has ended days of speculation about his whereabouts by returning to Nigeria after a trip abroad.

According to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the president arrived in Abuja on Wednesday morning, following visits to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.

The president’s return comes after his location was kept under wraps following his trip to Saudi Arabia on April 29th.

This secrecy fueled speculation about his health and whereabouts, exacerbated by the initial silence of his media team.

However, on Tuesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced on his social media handle that President Tinubu would return to Nigeria on Wednesday along with his aides.

The president’s return puts an end to the uncertainty surrounding his absence and paves the way for his resumption of official duties.
