British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds announced they have named their child Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.
The baby boy, Wilfred, was born on Wednesday morning, at a London hospital, and was said to be “healthy” by a spokesperson for Johnson and Symonds.
Symonds announced the news via her Instagram page Saturday afternoon, writing: “Introducing Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson born on 29.04.20 at 9am.
Both parents named Wilfred after Boris’ grandfather Lawrie after Symonds’ grandfather Nicholas after Dr Nick Price and Dr Nick Heart, the two doctors that saved Boris’ life last month.
“Thank you so, so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH that looked after us so well. I couldn’t be happier. My heart is full.”
