Bamidele Franklyn Olowo, Managing Director of Triumph Media Consult Ltd, has been elected Treasurer of the Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI, Kogi State chapter.
He has pledged to advance strategic reforms aimed at strengthening small and medium scale enterprises and enhancing the overall entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state.
The election and inauguration ceremony, held on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Lokoja, brought together entrepreneurs, industry players, and policymakers, all united by a shared vision of strengthening the Small and Medium Scale Enterprise (SME) ecosystem.
The event underscored the critical role SMEs play as the backbone of Nigeria’s economy, sustaining millions of livelihoods despite mounting challenges.
In his acceptance remarks, newly elected treasurer Prince Bamidele Franklyn Olowo described his emergence as “a call to serve, to build and to drive meaningful impact.”

He acknowledged the hurdles facing small businesses, including inconsistent government policies, limited access to finance, infrastructural gaps, and multiple taxation, but maintained that these obstacles can be overcome through deliberate collaboration.
Olowo stressed the need for stronger synergy between government at all levels and organizations like NASSI, noting that strategic policies, improved funding access, and business-friendly regulations are essential to revitalizing the sector.
“We must advocate for our members, create opportunities, and build a system that genuinely supports entrepreneurs across Kogi State,” he said, urging fellow executives to see their positions as responsibilities rather than titles.
Calling on entrepreneurs across the state to seize the moment, he encouraged innovation, resilience, and a collective commitment to rebuilding the SME landscape.
“The strength of our economy depends on the strength of our businesses,” he noted, adding that the newly inaugurated leadership is poised to reposition enterprises for sustainable growth.
With renewed energy and direction, stakeholders say the journey toward revitalising Kogi’s industrial base has truly begun.
