The General Overseer of The Dream Centre of the Life Oasis International Church, Osogbo, Rev Olusola Areogun, has declared that grace has the power to turn human limitations into endless possibilities, insisting that what believers lack naturally can become limitless when the God factor is added.

The cleric also declared that no painful history, failure, or past mistake can withstand the transforming power of God’s grace, stressing that what the devil may have done in a believer’s past cannot stop the future God has prepared for them.

Rev Areogun delivered the powerful message on the transforming force of grace on Friday, May 8, 2026, as guest speaker at the Charis Nigeria Convention 2026 themed Endless Possibilities By Grace.”

Beginning his teaching with the hymn, “Amazing grace! how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me!”, the cleric reflected on how the word “wretch” became deeply personal to him after salvation, revealing that he later adjusted parts of the hymn to align with his spiritual journey and dependence on God.

“How sweet is the sound that saved me and met my needs.”

According to him, grace is fundamentally the unmerited favour and kindness of God which cannot be earned through human effort, qualification, or achievement.

“It is not about work, it is about merit.”

He explained that grace also represents God’s disposition towards humanity and His willingness to deploy divine power on behalf of those who find grace before Him. Referencing Romans 1:1-7, Rev Areogun noted that Apostle Paul consistently opened his letters with declarations of grace, while Hebrews 4:16 revealed that believers are invited to approach the throne of grace boldly in times of need.

“No matter the fault, you know you will find grace.”

The preacher further described grace as divine donation, an empowerment from God that enables believers to function beyond natural human ability.

“Grace donation enables you to do what is beyond your ability as a child of God.”

Drawing from 1 Corinthians 15:1 and 1 Corinthians 15:10, he highlighted Apostle Paul as a major example of grace in operation, explaining that despite Paul’s violent past as a persecutor of the church, grace transformed him into one of the greatest preachers of the gospel.

“Paul preached the gospel he was set to destroy.”

Rahab was also cited as proof that grace can override painful history and damaged reputation.

“What the devil did in your past is not comparable with what God will do in your future.”

Rev Areogun warned believers against abusing grace, stressing that grace is not permission for careless living but empowerment for righteous living.

“You will insult the integrity of God to think you have grace to live anyhow.”

Referencing Jeremiah 29:11, he maintained that GOD’s intentions towards His people remain good despite past failures and weaknesses, adding that the devil remains the only being with a glorious past but a terrible future.

He also taught that grace creates possibilities and opportunities for believers, but effort and responsibility are required for manifestation.

“Grace has opened many spaces for us, but you need to make efforts to fill the space.”

Sharing personal experiences, the cleric recounted how God instructed him to begin writing books despite apparent limitations, explaining that grace made impossible assignments achievable as revelations continually flowed.

Several biblical personalities, including Joseph, Esther, Moses, David, Daniel, and Paul, were highlighted as examples of grace producing supernatural possibilities. Joseph rose from slavery to become prime minister, Esther emerged from obscurity to become queen, while Moses overcame his inability to speak through divine empowerment.

“When grace begins to work for you, it covers your ability and inability.”

Teaching on ministry grace, Rev Areogun referenced Romans 1:5, Romans 15:14, Galatians 2:7, and 1 Corinthians 3:5-10, explaining that every divine assignment carries a corresponding grace allocation.

“Anyone called into ministry has a grace that goes into it.”

He also addressed special grace and grace levels, citing Acts 11:20, Romans 12:3, Romans 12:6, 1 Samuel 11:6, and 2 Peter 3:15-17, urging believers to discover and remain within the area where God has graced them to function effectively.

“You must find your grace and stay there.”

“There is a dimension of grace beyond talents.”

According to him, grace is the unlimited potential of the Holy Spirit made available to believers.

“Grace is the unlimited potential of the Holy Spirit brought to a believer.”

Using Acts 6, he outlined areas where grace produces possibilities, including supernatural provision, divine capacities, sufficiency in challenges, enlargement, redemption, deliverance, wisdom, strength for impossible tasks, and help in times of need.

“Grace is plus God life.”

“What you do not have plus God becomes endless.”

Rev Areogun further declared that grace has the power to restore believers after painful setbacks and disappointments, citing Psalm 118:13 as assurance of divine intervention.

“Grace brings you from setback to comeback.”

“GOD will give you a comeback from a setback.”

Referencing Isaiah 41:10-17, he encouraged believers to trust God for endless possibilities, insisting that grace ultimately transforms difficult situations into testimonies of victory and fulfilment.

“Grace makes possibility available for individuals according to the mission.”

“Wickedness in life may say you cannot be, but grace says you have it.”

At the close of the teaching, believers were urged to receive grace, avoid frustrating or neglecting it, labour faithfully with it, and intentionally deploy their grace for kingdom impact and future generations, citing 2 Corinthians 6:1 and Psalm 16:6.

The teaching formed one of the major highlights of the ongoing Charis Nigeria Convention 2026 holding at Charis HQ, Cultural Centre Road, Mokola, Ibadan, where worshippers continue to gather for intense teaching, spiritual encounters, and kingdom impact under the theme Endless Possibilities By Grace.
