Renowned Nigerian Evangelist Isaac Omolehin has declared that believers will receive everlasting joy that attaches blessing to their names for generations, while warning that passive Christians will miss miracles coming their way because they fail to position themselves to receive.
He said this on Friday, June 12, 2026, while delivering the opening ministrations at the three‑day “Double Portion” international revival organised by Charis Family International Church, Ashington, Northumberland, United Kingdom.
Pastor Omolehin who anchored his message on Isaiah 61:7, declaring that the meeting’s outcome is everlasting joy for all participants.
“The result of this meeting is found in verse seven of Isaiah 61, and that is, ‘Everlasting joy shall be yours.’ When He speaks of everlasting joy, He means joy that lasts forever. You will not remain in this place forever, but the joy GOD gives is eternal. It means your children, your children’s children, your great grandchildren, and generations after you will associate your name with blessing and joy.”
He traced this pattern through Scripture, saying: “He did it for Israel. He did it for Abraham. Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, Jacob became Israel, and Israel is still there, enjoying the blessings of Abraham. Israel, a nation that was born out of promise.”
Evangelist Omolehin added a crucial principle: “Everything God does in the Old Testament, He first announces to the beneficiary. And what the beneficiary does with that announcement determines what follows.”
The revivalist shattered the “small God” mindset during his sermon, insisting that calling for a “double portion” is actually humans being modest when addressing a God whose capacity is infinite.
“We are just being modest by saying double. GOD is beyond double,” he said, urging the assembly to stop praying small and expect supply beyond measure,” the cleric said.
Evangelist Omolehin who is the President and Founder of Word Assembly Ministries in Ilorin, Kwara State, highlighted distinct, profound and practical issues during his opening session as follows:
The “modesty” of “double” – He argued that asking for a double portion is humans being modest, because God can supply triple, ten times, or a thousand times.
“Suppose it were triple, would it be beyond GOD? Suppose you make it ten times, would it be beyond GOD? Suppose you make it a thousand times, would that be beyond GOD?”
God never does “small” things – He taught that every biblical miracle proves God’s work is always massive and beyond human capacity. “What does GOD supply that is small? What do you know GOD does that is a small thing? Whatever GOD does is big, and it is always beyond the capacity of those who are going to carry it.”

Active reception vs. passive waiting – He warned that miracles bounce back if the recipient is disengaged. One must “log in,” “link up,” and create a “funnel” for the miracle.
“If you are not agitated, not excited, not linking up, not logging in, not creating contact, not opening your own funnel for the miracle to flow into your life, the miracle may be coming towards you and still bounce back because you have not positioned yourself to receive it.”
Faith is initiated by hearing – Evangelist Omolehin stressed that the miracle starts as a Word before it becomes material. “What you hear is where your miracle will take off from. Faith comes by hearing. And unto him that believes, nothing shall be impossible.”
Generational blessing and everlasting joy – He explained that blessings attach to the believers’ names for generations.
“The result of this meeting, what is going to come out of this verse, is that everlasting joy shall be yours. That means your children, your children’s children, your great grandchildren, and generations after you will attach blessing and joy to your name.”
Power is never given to the casual – Evangelist Omolehin declared that power is given only to the serious, not the complacent.
“The things of God, particularly those related to power, are never given to the casual. They are never given to the complacent. They are never given to those who are not serious.”
Science has no programme for God – Omolehin said God announces what science cannot explain, like Mary’s pregnancy. “GOD came to announce what science could not explain. GOD came to announce what science had no procedure or process for.”
The single portion is no longer sufficient – He taught that a man desires a double portion when he recognises his single portion is inadequate for the work ahead.
“A man desires a double portion when he recognises that his single portion is no longer sufficient.”
Level of seriousness determines what you receive – He stressed that commitment determines both what and how much one gets. “The level of seriousness and commitment you show here will determine what you receive and how much you receive.”
Evangelist Omolehin reminded attendees are the revival session that humans are too modest when they pray.
He used the story of Elisha requesting a “double portion” to show that Elisha recognised his single portion was no longer sufficient for the work ahead.
Omolehin challenged the audience to realise that their prayers are often small compared to God’s power.
“We are just being modest by saying double. GOD is beyond double,” he repeated, making it clear that God is ready to give “beyond measure.”
Evangelist Omolehin anchored the revival’s anticipated outcome in Isaiah 61:7, foretelling that participants would receive joy that lasts forever and spreads through their descendants.
“He did it for Israel. He did it for Abraham. Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, Jacob became Israel, and Israel is still there, enjoying the blessings of Abraham. A nation was born out of promise,” he said, drawing a parallel between God’s covenant with ancient Israel and the blessing awaiting the revival assembly.
Active faith required, miracles will “bounce back” if you are disconnected
The preacher issued a stern warning to passive Christians.
“If you sit down and become disconnected, if you are not agitated, not excited, not linking up, not logging in, not creating contact, not opening your own funnel for the miracle to flow into your life, the miracle may be coming towards you and still bounce back because you have not positioned yourself to receive it,” he declared, urging the assembly to be alert, excited and ready.
Evangelist Omolehin reiterated the scriptural link between hearing and faith, saying, “What you hear is where your miracle will take off from. Faith comes by hearing.”
He used Mary’s annunciation as the ultimate example of active reception.
“Mary ended the conversation by saying, ‘Be it unto me according to your word.’ In other words, ‘I receive it. I accept what You have said. I believe what You have said. I possess what You have said. Let what You have spoken become mine,’” he said, concluding that “the Word became flesh,” the word the angel spoke, which Mary received, became reality.
Power for the serious, not the complacent
Drawing from the Elijah‑Elisha narrative in 2 kings, Chapter 2, Omolehin explained why the faithful should pursue a “double portion” of spiritual anointing.
He recounted Elisha’s insistence on following Elijah until the prophet was taken, and Elisha’s request, “I pray thee, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me,” as a model for hunger and determination.
“The things of God, particularly those related to power, are never given to the casual. They are never given today the complacent,” he stressed.
“That is why the level of seriousness and commitment you show here will determine what you receive and how much you receive.”
The revival continues
The three‑day programme runs through Sunday June 14, and is drawing worshippers from across the United Kingdom and Nigeria, reflecting Evangelist Omolehin’s long ministry both at home and abroad.
“I continue to emphasise this and I will not let go of it. What you hear is where your miracle will take off from,” Evangelist Omolehin said repeatedly, as the opening session closed in worship and prayer, with organisers inviting participants to return for further sessions and one‑to‑one ministry over the remainder of the revival.
In closing the programme for the day, the host minister, Pastor Ayodeji Akinsola, thanked Evangelist Omolehin for his nsightful message and urged attendees to return with concentration and spiritual alertness.
“There will be joy in the morning. Joy unspeakable. Thank you Lord. Hallelujah. Thank you, daddy. Praise God,” Pastor Akinsola said.
“Please, tomorrow we continue tomorrow. This is a three day programme. And you see the word of God for us is in Isaiah 61:7, that we shall have everlasting joy. That is the intent of this three day meeting. Listen, do not miss it. Please be here on time.”
He added, “And I want to plead with us, your concentration in this three day meeting is important. You hear what daddy said today. Spiritual alertness. God will help us.”
The revival continues on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the NCEA Duke’s Secondary Assembly Hall, Ashington, with organisers expecting worshippers from across the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
