Nigerians and a global audience have been told that 2021 will be a year that people, especially believers, who live by God’s instructions, will experience ease, speed and outstanding results in their endeavours.
Pastor Tunde Jaiyebo, the presiding mynister and senior pastor of Charis Family International Church, reiterated this on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the crossover service of the church.
The minister, who had earlier revealed God’s plans for the year 2021, during the church’s 2020 Charis Day Celebrations held December 10 to 14, 2020, stressing it further, said those living with God’s counsel won’t be swayed by challenges that will go along with 2021.
Ministering at the Charis Church’s headquarters auditorium located at Cultural Centre Road, Mokola, Ibadan, Pastor Jaiyebo admonished the congregation to thank God, for seeing the end of 2020 irrespective of what they went through in the year 2020.
The cleric said God reveals His plans for every year to guide His children in appropriating His benefits for them, hence, he said for 2021, every loss encountered, especially with the coronavirus that caused a lot of devastations and set back for many people, will be recovered.
“If you look back, you have a reason to thank God. A living dog is better than a dead lion. The fact that you are still alive, there is hope. We need to appreciate God. When you thank God, He is propelled to do more,” Pastor Jaiyebo said.
Enlightening the church on the reason for a crossover service, mentioning three of its importance, the minister said, it was a gathering to “Offer thanksgiving to God; “A night of instructions that will guide us as we enter the new year; and “A night of impartation. It is a night to get focused. And do what needs to be done.”
He also said: “A crossover night is a night of impartation, it is a night to get focused and do what needs to be done. We need to be careful because 2020 was a rough year to people who did not live by God’s instructions, as he had already told us that it was a year to be ‘audacious.'”
“I didn’t find 2020 rough. God gave us a word last year to be ‘audacious.’ God already gave us instructions for 2020. To be ‘audacious’ means to be relentless, be resolute, get the job done no matter what! But did you obey?
Pastor Jaiyebo, stressing the instructions given earlier by a preacher who spoke before him at the crossover service, that everyone, “whether unbelievers, spiritual or carnal Christians will make decisions day after day in 2021,” said the quality of the decisions made according to God’s instructions is what will sort individuals out and distinguish them according to accomplishments.

The minister said, “God has already given another instruction for 2021, which is that – it is a year of ease, speed and outstanding results.”
But, while he admonished the people not to blame the devil or God, for whatever they did not achieve in 2020, he said, “it is because you didn’t obey the instruction to be audacious.”
He, however, charged them not to allow what happened in 2020 to rub them of what will happen in 2021.
“Don’t allow what happened in 2020 to rub you of what will happen in 2021. The truth of the matter is, you will determine what happens to you in 2021.”
Also corroborating a message and a scriptural backup given by a minister in an earlier message at the crossover service from the Book of Isaiah 43:18-19, which states: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert,” the preacher, said: “Let 2020 go with 2020. Let go of whatever people did for you in 2020. Start on a clean slate in 2021.
Pastor Jaiyebo charged that: “You can’t be looking forward and look backward at the same time. GOD is set to do a new thing. There will be a sudden intervention of God in 2021. Where you least expected, God will do a new thing for you. He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

“Let what God is saying guide you in 2021. If you have been guided by being audacious in 2020, you won’t be at where you are now. But now in 2021, follow God’s instructions and enjoy ease, speed and outstanding results. In 2021, you will experience new ways, be led right and do right things.
“God, in Isaiah 42:16, says, “And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them,” so, in 2021, God will show you what to do. The spirit of mistake is cancelled in Jesus name.
“Also, God, in Isaiah 45:1-3, said, ‘I will go before you.’ God has gone before you in 2021. You will not be lost. Crooked ways shall be made straight. Whatever is difficult in 2020, has come to an end.
“Likewise, Jesus Christ in Mathew 11:28-30, said, ‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light,’ so, let Him carry your load for you in 2021. He didn’t say there won’t be a load, only that with Him carrying them for you, it will be light. Follow God’s instructions. Happy new year 2021.”
